My name is Jeff Closs, and I am a professional photographer based in beautiful Quesnel, British Columbia. I tend to focus on portraits, both solo and group and wedding photography. However, I am constantly expanding my horizons and trying new things. I have a “technicians” need to understand the why behind my photography, and because of this I am constantly trying new techniques and exploring the boundaries of equipment and photography.
For my professional work I shoot digital like most modern professional photographers – for my personal and artistic work I shoot with almost anything. I collect antique and quirky cameras, I have working, and shooting, film cameras from medium format bellows cameras to 70’s polaroids.
Some of my spare time I donate as a Scout Leader to the Baden-Powell Scouting Association, as an assistant Otter leader. Otters are children between 5 and 8 years old. I started because I felt my daughters should have the knowledge and community that Scouting provides. As such, I am very comfortable working with children, from very small to nearly adult.
No matter what your creative vision, I pride myself on being able to help make it into reality, while having open, useful communication and solid business practices.
